Farmgirl Friday Blog Hop #126 & Giveaway!!!!

Friday Blog HopWelcome to our Farmgirl Friday Blog Hop!  All farmgirls (and boys) and those who have an inner farmgirl like me waiting to unleash are welcome to join in!

It is so much fun to participate in the blog hop.  So many great ones to read and read and read.  A couple of my favs from last week….

Oak Hill Homestead’s blog on “Ten Things I’ve Learned Living in the Country“.  I loved it so much because being a farmgirl newbie I could relate to so many of her ten.  Numbers 2, 6, 7, and 8 were the things I related to the most.  I feel like living out in the country is one continual lesson and her blog made me feel like I was not the only one that feels that way!

Another fav was Cats On The Homestead “Fire Roasted Peppers How to and Recipe“.  She inspired me to clean off my pepper plants and toss my peppers on the grill.  YUMMY!  I have added these to pasta, eggs, salsa and froze a bunch.  I love to be inspired especially when it helps me solve a challenge– I was running out of ideas for my hundreds of peppers. Now I can enjoy them not only now in a different way, but all winter as I pull them from the freezer and off the shelf.

Aren’t these hand painted garden markers adorable? Deb at Dandelion House was recently contacted by the very talented and generous freelance illustrator and designer Catherine LaPointe about doing a giveaway for you and she couldn’t resist  sharing her FARM FRESH hand painted garden markers with you!  Any one of these ( or one of each ) would look adorable poking out the top of your favorite gardener’s Christmas stocking or tucked into your garden tote at the ready for next years garden.
The giveaway begins tonight ( September 19th at midnight ) !
Go HERE to enter this giveaway on Catherine’s Facebook page ( LIKE HER PAGE ) then come right back to enter this weeks hop! Her giveaway starts today and runs through October 4th! The winner will be chosen automatically by Rafflecopter and announced on October 5th.

When I was musing this week I shared a blog on Lessons Learned from Hauling Trash.  I hope you read it and share with us some lessons you have learned living the lifestyle that you live.

So are you ready to hop????

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF THE FARMGIRL SISTERHOOD to join the FARMGIRL/BOY FRIDAY BLOG HOP although I highly recommend you check it out if you like the idea of earning badges for all the fun farmgirl activities you already do, and the new ones you will try your hand at in the future!  I love being a part of the Farmgirl Sisterhood and love all the resources I have at my fingertips all the time!
