I am itching to get out and plant! Let’s face it impatient is a word to describe it also. I shared my thoughts on that this week. How about you? Weather allowing for some outdoor planting yet??? I have Garden Bed #6 ready for 100 tomatoes and peppers. The soil is too cool however, so it will have to wait a few more days. It looks like a bride in waiting doesn’t it? I love the marker by the way.. it is an old antique spool and has a big ol’ 6 on it. Gift from a daughter. Isn’t it cool?
Even though it is too cold for my green babies that are started in the pole barn, I DID play in the dirt yesterday and planted “Garden Bed #1” last evening under a perfect sunset sky. This garden marker is from another daughter :-).
This bed is housing mint (in the front coming up from last year’s planting), peas, kale, spinach, radishes, chard, brocolini, and lettuces. When I discovered my soil temp was cool for the tomatoes I matched the seeds I have with my cool soil temps and this is what I came up with.
